Rogoznica

CROATIAN TOURIST DESTINATIONS

Rogoznica is a small tourist resort and town south of Šibenik and just four kilometers south of Primošten. The ancient name of Rogoznica was Heracleia. Like Primošten, Rogoznica is located right on the coast of the Adriatic Sea on a small peninsula. There are two interesting old buildings in the town; church of St. Nikola and church of St. Ivan Trogirski. Both churches were built in Medieval Dalmatian style in period from 12. to 15. century. The town is about ten kilometers away from Marina and five kilometers from Sevid.

Clean Beaches and Sea in Rogoznica Beaches around Rogoznica are very nice pebble beaches and the waters of the sea are particularly clean because of its advanced position into the Adriatic Sea. Rogoznica beaches are comparable in quality to beaches found on islands of the Adriatic Sea. The town also has Marina Frapa. For accommodation there are hotel rooms and holiday apartments for rent.
