Pag Island

Island Pag is the southernmost of the Kvarner Islands in Croatia. Pag is connected to land by bridge at Dalmatian northernmost point at sea to the north from Zadar. Pag is also the name of the town located approximately at the center of the island. Pag is famous for its cheese and salt production and sheep. Pag got its name from latin word "pagus", which means village. Some other small towns on the island at the seaside, ordered from east to west, include: Miškovići, Vlašići, Smokvica, Povljana, Košljun, Šimuni, Mandre, Metajna, Zubovići, Vidalići, Caska, and Novalja.

Beach patries

If you like to party on the beach, there is Zrće beach on Pag. The beach is located at the northern end of the island's largest inner bay next to Caska and just three kilometers away from Novalja and four kilometers from Stara Novalja. Zrće beach is a spacious pebble beach and it is very popular among young people. The beach is crowded in summer as there are beach parties and people having a good time on the beach and at the beach bars during day but the fun continues into the night as well.
